Q : Is the service free?
A : Our service is free to Hock's Pharmacy patients who have Medicare
coverage and private insurance. We handle all billing and shipping
Free!
Q : Do you ship insulin?
A : Yes, even though Medicare does not pay for insulin, we offer this to our patients
as an additional service. It is competively priced and is shipped under refrigeration to you.
Q : Do you ship syringes?
A : Medicare does not provide coverage for syringes. However,
we carry a complete line of insulin syringes competively priced and shipped to you for your convenience.
Call one of our knowledgeabele and helpful patient service representatives.
He or she will be able to determine what your needs are.
Q : How do you ship the supplies?
A : All products are shipped UPS or Fedex with delivery
confirmation. Most shipments arrive in 2 to 3 days after
we receive the order confirmation from your doctor.
Q : How long does it take to receive my supplies?
A : The verification process is completed in usually less than 1
business day. Then the only thing we need in order to ship your
supplies is the signed ‘doctors orders’ from your physician. Most
doctors return the fax the next day. However, sometimes doctors
take longer. Rest assured, our staff will do everything we can to
obtain your doctor's cooperation, but sometimes it takes a call
from you to help remind your doctor to respond to our fax.
Q : Can I cancel my enrollment?
A : There are no contracts or ongoing obligation with your
service. We think after you became a Hock's Pharmacy patient, you’ll be satisfied
and want to continue. That’s our goal.
Q : Is there a co-pay?
A : Medicare pay for 80% of your diabetic supplies after
an annual $100 deductible is met. If you have a supplemental policy,
most likely there will be no charge to you.
Q : Do You Bill Private Insurances.
A : We only Private insurances when they are secondary to your
Medicare coverage. We do not at this time bill soley
private insurance companies for diabetic supplies.
